SE MCO

SE=Social Engagement (the subject's assignment)
MCO=Movement Control Order (bcos our community service is cancelled and replace with this assignment >-<)

It was our first online meeting using Google Meeting today (Monday, 27/4/2020). Dr had asked me to create a whatsapp group for the subject well basically the members are my coursemates We already had our own whatsapp group it's just without dr '=)

So, dr had been contacting us through whatsapp before the meeting to inform about the changes made by faculty regarding the course outline and also about the meeting.

During the meeting, dr briefed us about the assignment we have to do. We need to figure out things about this pandemic and sort of reflect about it. Previously, we had all the bureaus and MTs but not anymore for this assignment. We have to divide ourselves into group of 5 and work together on a chosen topic.

So, after the meeting, we discussed and decide our group members. I got to be in a group with Chan, Abi, Hafeez and Syamil. Oh dr asked us to set our group with mixed genders and races. So, boom! Comes our group =D

I told my friends we can actually dismissed previous whatsapp group of bureaus and MTs and make a new one for our new group, in a half joking tone but I guess no one knows that because it was a written message =p

Then, I made a whatsapp group of ours and started to discuss because I don't want to pick up same topic with other group and have to fight for it =p After quite an active and fast discussion, we decided to pick Frontliners: Medical Staffs as our target groups. Medical staffs came after sending full name+matric no to dr in whatsapp group along with the topic (only Frontliners at that time) and being asked 'which frontliner' by dr, so yeah we decided to choose Medical Staffs.

What do we have to do? Till next log! =p

Oh one more thing! I left my log book at college bcos didn't this MCO was comin' and..I actually left so many other things. So, I don't really remember what I've wrote in it and might not be able to write here because I thought I wanted to rewrite everything here and our class blog because I really love writing reflective logs <3 yet didn't see a chance cuz MCO definitely gonna keep extending =(

    I'm so sad you guys had to miss the opportunity in SE because of this pandemic, SE was my best memory with my friends and it still is. Hopefully this pandemic will go away soon, so we can all meet each other again. All the best for your future.

Assalamualaikum and hellooo! Today at 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., is our second meeting for social engagement course. Dr was a little bit late because she had a meeting, so Zamir conducted our meeting while waiting for Dr Arpah. Assalamu’alaikum and hello !  Pantai Remis on our way back to UM  It’s my first posting here and I decided to combine these three meetings in one post because well why not . And I don't know if my grammars are okay or not but if not ... well , buat buat tak nampak :D On our first meeting, there was an air of ,, I don’t know how to word it but yeah we were pretty awkward to each other or maybe it was just me feeling that way haha . It was our very first course that gathered all of us together in one room since before this , the only time we got to be together was for the meetings with other seniors that also taking Bioinformatics . Site Visit to The Beach!

So yeah, as the title says, we went to the beach! (not only to the beach, of course) It was a Sunday morning, 8/3/2020 to be precise, a few of us were "privileged" enough to represent the group to carry out a site visit to Kampung Sungai Sembilang located in Jeram, Selangor. After around an hour drive, we managed not to get lost and reached the village safely. Met the head of the village (ketua kampung) and his secretary, spoke to them, discussed about the details and bla bla bla... you know the rest. Managed to settle stuffs thanks to them super helpful people. Went to scout some homestays afterwards, checked out the beach to see how dirty  clean it is and had a seaside lunch before we returned to UM.
