BioInfo Social Engagement 19/20

Hi. So this entry is going to be about our Social Engagement Progress throughout week 1 to week 6. You may skip all the way to the Site Visit (March 8th,2020) part where it gets a little bit interesting . I said a little, so do not get your expectations too high 😌 February 24th, 2020 Our meeting for this course started with short presentations from each bureau on their work progress. After that's settled, everyone sat accordingly to their bureaus and discussed on each bureaus' responsibilities to make this project successful. March 2nd, 2020 Each Head of Bureau presented their respective bureau work progress. Next, project director, Zamir gave some slight briefing about the site visit dated 8th of March. On the other hand, Multimedia and Publicity Bureau created an Instagram account for the project (@bioinfoum_se) and a blog for us to update and share our activities and progress related to the Social Engagement Project.    The third or in another word our last meeting was held on 9th March 2020, at that point, I should tell we were so confident with the project, we have a crystal clear view of the future of the project. We went to the site view on 8th March, met the "Ketua Kampung" and his Secretory(Brader Usop), surveyed the resort, and had our lunch at Pantai Remis Restaurant and was dreaming to bring our other friends there to eat.   In the meeting, I presented the date, location, and program tentative with PowerPoint slides to the group and Dr.Arpah. All the other bureaus too were presenting their work energetically. Everyone was excited about the project and I can see everyone was working hard to make the project successful. I still remember at the end of the meeting we were discussing and voting the movie we wanted to play on movie night.
